Teaching Smeaching...

Twenty eight Parent/Student/Teacher conferences in two days. I'm exhausted. And...on top of all this, I still have to teach this week!

Half of my freshmen class is failing. They refuse to do homework. REFUSE. So, today, instead of letting them take their essay home as homework we all went down to the computer lab and spend 90 minutes typing the essay. Man, I wish I had it this easy when I was in high school!

Right now we're reading The Great Gatsby and working on Greek Mythology, if anyone out there has any suggestions for me. I'm dying here!
