Homecoming

This week was homecoming week. Pretty darn busy. The theme was "Vintage Video Games." The seniors were Mario, juniors=Donkey Kong, sophomores=Pac Man, and freshmen were Pokemon. Don't get me started. Anyway, since I have mostly freshmen, I dressed like Pikachu on Friday. Word.

The week was crazy--and full of spirit. Monday was college day. Tuesday was Nerd Day. Wednesday was Wacky Tacky day, with a carnival at lunch. Thursday was 'Noma Pride day with a rally after school and a bbq/bonfire that night. Friday was Float Theme day, with a parade, game and then homecoming dance on Friday. I attended ALL of it. It was a fun week...although you couldn't pay me enough money to be back in high school again. Especially as a freshman. They had their float ruined, music stolen, and t-shirts thrown into the bonfire.

Oh, and the best part, there was a streaker during the halftime show at the Homecoming game. Word on the street (no pun intended) was that he landed on his butt in the asphalt after hoping two 8-foot fences to get out of the stadium. He was wearing a monkey mask so they're not quite sure who did it, but they have a couple of leads. I'll keep you posted. Haha.
